CW Washer Screen
Kadant Lamort has designed a washer screen, based on the famous and well proven CH screen. This washer screen is ideal for ash removal in small capacity stock preparation lines or for fibre recovery in filtrate waters before final clarification.
Working Principle
Stock is retained by a basket with very small holes (generally less than 300 microns, depending on the application), whereas most water is evacuated through the holes. As with any washer, the CW is consequently also a thickener.
