Broke Pulping
Broke pulpers, whether for wet or dry broke, are essential to preserve runnability of the paper machine. Depending on the application, on the position of the pulper (under the machine or not), Kadant offers several solutions.
For wet broke, disintegrators are used.
For dry broke, KV repulpers and Hydrapulpers, both with horizontal turbines due to layout constraints, are optimal solutions.
Working Principle
Wet or Dry broke falls into the repulper, to be reslushed and sent to a specific broke treatment or to the stock preparation line.
Applications
- From the couch pit to the reel. Applies for any kind of paper machine and paper.
- Wet strength products in order to achieve repulping before complete polymerisation of the chemical wet strength agents is achieved.
